In 2010, Vanessa Goertzen started a pattern company called Lella Boutique. She has published dozens of quilt and sewing patterns, and is author of two bestselling books. Vanessa has always been drawn to the beautiful fabrics of Moda and began designing fabric for Moda in 2013. She has always felt a call to create and bring beauty into the world through this medium going back to growing up with a mother who sewed and collected fabric.
